Before the World ||洪禎佑 x 熊倉涼子

Before everything was named, classified, and assigned meaning—
what did the world look like? As the year draws to a close, TARTCH Gallery warmly invites you
to step into our newly curated two-person exhibition,
Before the World,
and embark on a profound journey back to the origin of perception—
a renewed way of seeing both the world and the inner self. This is not an exhibition that asks to be understood,
but one that invites you to momentarily set thinking aside and simply feel—
where the body comes before language,
intuition before concepts,
and where, within the works, you encounter yourself. This exhibition brings together
Taiwanese artist Hung Zhen-Yu and Japanese artist Ryoko Kumakura,
whose distinctly different yet resonant artistic perspectives unfold
a deep dialogue on
how the world is constructed and how humans perceive and experience it. ✨ Within the same space,
you will simultaneously sense—
the rational anxiety of humanity striving to construct the world,
and the primal force of returning to instinctual perception. This is an artistic dialogue charged with tension and energy,
and a thoughtful invitation offered on the threshold of a new year. ▪️ Joint Exhibition

《 ESOW Wandering Notes》IESOW

After two years, Japanese graffiti artist ESOW returns to TARTCH, once again bringing along his signature character — the “middle-aged man.” In his latest solo exhibition, “ESOW Wandering Notes,” he unfolds a dialogue that drifts between wandering and belonging, tracing moments that seem aimless yet pulse with life and quiet strength. Through his distinctive graffiti language and delicate brushwork, ESOW transforms scenes from everyday life into reflections of the soul. Amid bamboo groves, cherry blossoms, and pine trees, the familiar figure reappears — calm and content, living freely as wind and light weave through his painted world. Those seemingly idle moments are, in truth, quiet practices in the art of simply being. In “ESOW Wandering Notes,” wandering is not about being lost, but about a state of inner freedom; notes are fragments of life — records of moments that exist not for pursuit, but for presence itself. When you stop rushing forward, when you pause at an unexpected corner — perhaps that is when your own wandering truly begins. You are warmly invited to join us on November 8 for the opening of “ESOW Wandering Notes,” to stroll through the spaces between nature and the everyday, and to rediscover your rhythm in the stillness and motion of life. The artist ESOW will also be present at the opening to share this moment of wandering with you. ▪️ Solo Exhibition “ESOW Wandering Notes” ▪️ Dates Nov. 8 – Dec. 13, 2025 ▪️ Artist ESOW (Japan) ▪️ Open to Public Date| Nov. 8, 2025 Time| 15:00–17:30 TARTCH Gallery Tue – Sat (Closed on Sun & Mon) 10:00 – 18:30 +886 2 2793-3182 1F, No. 503, Sec. 6, Nanjing East Rd., Neihu, Taipei
