2015年，他獲選為柳中文化財團（Yoojoong Foundation）新銳藝術家。此後，他持續參與多項國際攝影節與藝術博覽會，包括紐約 Photoville、洛杉磯 Photo Independent 以及巴黎 Foto Fever，並逐步拓展其國際創作版圖。
2026年4月，李碩勳將於台灣台北的 Tartch Gallery 舉辦全新作品展覽。
李秀水是一位將影像視為「感知結構」而非「現實紀錄」的攝影藝術家。他的創作始於一個問題：現實不只是如何呈現，而是如何被理解與詮釋。
透過色彩的反轉與形態的轉化，原本熟悉的對象在影像中以陌生的樣貌出現。這些被改變的形態並不只是對物件的記錄，而是揭示了我們感知與理解現實的條件。
李秀水的創作關注於想像中的影像與實際創作行為之間所產生的延遲與裂隙。在意圖與實踐之間的間隙中，影像不再只是再現，而成為另一種詮釋現實的方式。
最終，他的影像與其說是對現實的肯定，不如說更接近於現實的「負片」。透過反轉的色彩與變形的結構，留下的是一種對我們所相信自己正在看見的世界的提問。
Susu Li (Seokhoon Lee)
Susu Li is a photographer trained in fine art and advertising, whose practice moves across the boundary
between commercial imagery and contemporary art.
In 2015, he was selected as an emerging artist by the Yoojoong Foundation. Since then, he has expanded
his international presence through participation in major photography festivals and fairs, including Photo
ville in New York, Photo Independent in Los Angeles, and Foto Fever in Paris.
In April 2026, Lee will present a new exhibition at Tartch Gallery in Taipei, Taiwan.
Artist Statement
Susu Li is a photographer who approaches images not as records of reality but as structures of percep
tion. His work begins with a question: not how reality appears, but how it is interpreted and understood.
Through the inversion of color and the transformation of form, familiar subjects emerge as unfamiliar
images. These altered forms do not simply document objects; they reveal the conditions through which
reality is perceived.
Li’s work focuses on the delay and fracture that arise between an imagined image and the act of making
it. Within the gap between intention and execution, the image appears not as representation but as
another mode of interpretation.Ultimately, his images function less as affirmations of reality than as its
negative. Through inverted colors and transformed structures, what remains is an image that questions
the world we believe we see.
이석훈
이석훈은 파인아트와 광고를 전공한 사진가로, 상업 이미지와 순수예술의 경계를 가로지르는 작업을
지속해왔다.
2015년 유중재단 신진작가로 선정되었으며, 이후 뉴욕 포토빌(Photoville), 로스앤젤레스 포토 인디펜던트(-
Photo Independent), 파리 포토피버(Foto Fever) 등 국내외 주요 축제와 페어에 참여하며 활동 영역을
확장해왔다. 2026년 4월에는 대만 타이베이 타치(Tartch) 갤러리에서 신작 전시를 앞두고 있다.
Introduction without education and work
이석훈은 이미지를 현실의 기록이 아니라 인식의 구조로 다루는 사진가이다. 그의 작업은 현실을재현하기보다
우리가 현실을 어떻게 인식하고 해석하는지에 대한 질문에서 출발한다.
색의 반전과 형태의 변형을 통해 익숙한 대상은 낯선 이미지로 드러난다. 이러한 전도된 이미지는 사물을
기록하기보다, 현실을 바라보는 시각의 조건을 드러낸다.
그의 작업은 완성된 이미지와 실제 행위 사이에서 발생하는 지연과 균열에 주목한다. 계획과 실행 사이의 간극
속에서 이미지는 현실의 재현이 아니라 또 다른 해석의 형태로 나타난다.
결국 이석훈의 이미지는 현실의 긍정적 재현이 아니라 그 음화에 가깝다. 반전된 색과 변형된 구조 속에서
남겨진 이미지는 현실의 잔여이자, 우리가 보고 있다고 믿는 세계에 대한 또 다른 질문이 된다.
